On this cold boring winter evening, my phone rang and guess who!! it was my beloved friend Dee as I call her. She was inviting my sister Gladys and I for game night at a mutual acquaintance's place, little did i know she had a special guest to present to me on that day hahaha. When Silas or Uncle Si as I call him haha was presented to me, i immediately clicked with him and liked him because he was so gentle, calm, composed, and shy. Dee was not yet in love with him at the time and we were always making side comments on the subject haha haha. But I knew eventually she would be madly in love with him because their Chemistry was top-notch. I was super existed when she told me they were dating because who wouldn't want to have uncle Si as a partner hahaha. What made my heart melt was when he contacted me for the engagement party hahaha, i was extremely happy, not only because of the engagement announcement but because he was keen and attentive. Why, they once visited me and i remember quite well when Dee told him'' My love, if you ever have any engagement plans please call Cassie(as she calls me)'' and he did just that. This shows how keen and intentional he is. I must admit Planning the engagement with uncle Si was not easy because one, he is shy but still wanted to please Dee in anyway possible and make it all about her. He was always on alert and made sure everything was perfect for the love of his life(Awnnn God when!) hahaha . Dee he is a keeper so hold him tighttt. Shoutout to all the planning committee not limited to Gladys and Mimsy for the perfect execution. I know deep in my heart that Uncle Si will make a great partner and Dee will make an excellent wife. She is an amazing friend turned sis and i love her and wish her the absolute best. Permit me to say Uncle Si is the luckiest man on Earth to have found this precious jewel and he is going to live the best parts of his life being married to her. To Mr & Mrs. Waikem, I knew Daliane as my sister's friend and she quickly became a sister to me as well. Always very loving, caring and full of joy. I have no doubt Daliane will make an amazing wife and I am most happy to know she gets to marry someone as patient, caring and intentional as Silas. “During the Summer of 2021, I had a Cameroonian social event to attend which was scheduled on August 28, for which I invited Silas. Daliane was a part of the event so naturally she attended the event. Silas and I arrived at the chilling together and he got introduced to Daliane. As the evening went down, conversations were had and games were played. Silas and Daliane bonded and by the end of the evening, they were interested in exploring their connection further. They exchanged contacts and the rest is history. My wife and I are honoured to be close friends of the couple as it has been such a beautiful journey seeing them grow together.
